A surfer, born with an instinctive desire to be at one with the natural
world, carries his board to the water through a wholly unnatural landscape
of concrete and metal.
Sometimes, one's personal circumstances do not match the level of ambition
one holds. Dreams and aspirations provide a potent motivational drive
to redress that.
Sometimes though, no matter how motivated one may be, personal circumstances
do not always allow those greatest of ambitions to be fully realised.
And if one's love of a pastime is inherent, then ways are found to enjoy
that pastime however their personal circumstances allow, at whatever level
they can, for no other reason than to be the best they can be, because
that pastime is part of their soul.
